Hi, we ordered again tonight
25/1/21, and it took a bit longer
than normal, wasn't very warm,
the Madras had zero spice at all,
it also had sliced raw garlic in
it, which it never has before,
the lamb shank was tasty, again
not that warm, and definitely no
chillis's in it. thought you

night. Order placed just past
5.30pm. Had to chase at 7.20pm.
Wrong order delivered. Finally
after 8pm correct order. Shame as
we have always recommend you to

order before 5.30pm as we now

No salad, no mint sauce.
Guys, these small errors result
in not wanting to order again. It
seems order are slightly wrong
every time. Sometimes it’s the
small things that are missing
that ruin the meal
Always lovely food here and
it’s always great service
We've been regular customers for
many years and, when we've had
problems in the past, I've always
preferred to speak to the
manager. My main issue, over
time, has been the
steadily-decreasing amount of
food in the tubs, to the extent
that on one occasion four main
meals were (literally) half-full.
His reasoning has been, perhaps
with a degree of merit, that all
curries are 'portioned out',
depending upon their
'speciality'. Fine, but in which
case, serve them in smaller tubs,
so the customer doesn't feel
short-changed. But in recent
months, these 'short' portions
have been compounded by a real
drop in taste. We last ordered
on 18 December, and were
disappointed. Four weeks later
we have ordered again, and for
the very last time. Shocking
portions, and largely tasteless.
I'm so sorry for people in their
line of work, where Covid is
constantly nipping at the ankles.
But we've all got our
challenges, and they ought to
recognise loyal customers; in our
case they haven't, and we won't
be ordering again, which is a
shame. I wish them well,
nevertheless, and that they stay

much we normally like the food at
spice of Bruerne and as you will
see from our account the
frequency that we order.
We ordered from yourselves this
evening and to be honest the food
was dreadful, my partner and I
left the majority of the food and
we’re only left with nann and
Again I’m unsure on why this
evening the food was so far away
from the normal standard.
